Letters to England: May - June 1945

This little handful of letters, written shortly after the Liberation in 1945, somehow survived the bonfires of the years.  Most were written by Elizabeth (pet name Bibi) and John to their sister-in-law Alice Hayes in Penwortham, Preston, where she was living with her young son David.   Her husband Tom had not yet returned from his service with the Army.
